会计学院已有60多年财会类学科办学经验，曾被评为国家财政部门和中国人民银行的优秀定点培训教育基地，现有会计学、财务管理、审计学、资产评估和税收学等5个本科专业。

学院获批校硕士学位授权点培养单位。2017年9月起，与福州大学、福建农林大学联合培养硕士研究生。现有在校本科生1500多人。

专任教师60人，高级职称34人（教授9人），博士18人，具备行业职业资格的“双师型”教师43人。

学院拥有两个省级重点学科、一个省级应用型学科，三个省级一流专业、一个省级专业群、两个省级特色专业、一个省级虚拟仿真实验教学示范中心、一个省级实验教学示范中心，拥有中央和地方共建项目一个、省级首批社科研究基地一个、省级财税法学研究会一个、省财政预算绩效管理智库一个，等等。

学院以“培养复合性创新性应用型人才”为目标，加大学科专业与实务界对接，增强学生就业竞争力。2015年开始，学院与英国皇家管理会计师公会合作引入CIMA项目，将本科学历教育与国际职业规划教育相结合，成为福建省省属院校中首个与CIMA合作的院校。2017年与福建省资产评估协会合作，成立资产评估与财务服务产业学院。校企合作共建多个校内外实践教学基地。近年来，学院毕业生60%以上取得各类职业资格证书。学生社会实践团队连续多年荣获全国大中专学生“三下乡社会实践活动”优秀单位团队。学生获第十二届“挑战杯”国赛铜奖、第十七届“挑战杯”全国大学生课外学术科技作品竞赛红色专项活动二等奖等各类国家级奖项50余人次、第十五届“挑战杯”福建省大学生课外学术科技作品竞赛二等奖、“互联网+”第七届省高教主赛道铜奖等各类省级奖项100余人次。

学院党委获评省级党建工作标杆院系，4个党支部获评省级党建工作样板支部，1个党支部获评省级“双带头人”教师党支部书记工作室。学院党委荣获“全省高等学校先进基层党组织”、“省党建重点课题调研论文二等奖”。学院教工第二党支部荣获“全省高等学校先进基层党组织”、省高校党支部工作立项活动优秀成果二等奖。2个党支部立项获省级优秀成果奖。

Overview of the School of Accounting

The School of Accounting has over 60 years of experience in offering programs related to finance and accounting. It has been recognized as an excellent designated training and education base by the national finance department and the People's Bank of China. The school currently offers five undergraduate majors: Accounting, Financial Management, Auditing, Asset Appraisal, and Taxation.

The School of Accounting is accredited for master’s degree authorization and has been collaborating with Fuzhou University and Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University to jointly cultivate postgraduate students since September 2017. There are currently more than 1,500 undergraduate students enrolled.

The faculty comprises 60 full-time instructors, including 34 senior titles (9 professors) and 18 doctoral holders. Among them, 43 instructors are “dual-qualified” professionals, possessing both academic credentials and industry qualifications.

The school boasts two provincial key disciplines, one provincial application-oriented discipline, three provincial first-class programs, one provincial professional cluster, two provincial distinctive programs, one provincial virtual simulation experimental teaching demonstration center, and one provincial experimental teaching demonstration center. Additionally, it hosts a central and local co-construction project, the province’s first social science research base, a provincial tax and finance law research association, and a provincial think tank for fiscal budget performance management, among others.

With the goal of cultivating innovative, interdisciplinary, and applied talent, the school actively aligns its academic programs with practical needs to enhance students' employability. Since 2015, the school has partnered with the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants (CIMA) UK to introduce the CIMA program, integrating undergraduate education with international professional planning. This collaboration makes the school the first provincial institution in Fujian Province to partner with CIMA. In 2017, it established the Asset Appraisal and Financial Services Industry College in cooperation with the Fujian Provincial Asset Appraisal Association. Multiple on- and off-campus practical teaching bases have been jointly built with enterprises. Over 60% of recent graduates have obtained various professional qualification certificates. Student social practice teams have consistently won awards at the national level, such as "Outstanding Team" in the National Large-Scale and Medium-Sized College and Technical Secondary School Students 'Three Villages' Social Practice Activities. Students have also achieved notable success in competitions, earning over 50 national-level awards, including a bronze medal at the 12th "Challenge Cup" National Competition and a second prize at the Red Special Activity of the 17th "Challenge Cup" National College Students Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Works Competition. At the provincial level, students have won over 100 awards, including a second prize at the 15th "Challenge Cup" Fujian Provincial College Students Extracurricular Academic Science and Technology Works Competition and a bronze award at the Seventh Provincial Higher Education Main Track of the "Internet+" Competition.

The School of Accounting’s Party Committee has been honored as a provincial benchmark institute for party building, with four party branches recognized as provincial model branches. One branch has been awarded the title of provincial "Dual Leader" Teacher Party Branch Secretary Studio. The Party Committee has received accolades such as "Advanced Grassroots Party Organization of Provincial Higher Education Institutions" and a second prize for research papers on key provincial party building topics. The Second Faculty Staff Party Branch has been honored as an "Advanced Grassroots Party Organization of Provincial Higher Education Institutions" and received a second prize for outstanding results in provincial higher education institution party branch work projects. Two party branch projects have won provincial-level excellence awards.
